- Non-hazardous for transport: Not classified as Dangerous Goods under ADG 7th Edition. No UN number required.
- Short environmental fate: Atmospheric lifespan 11 to 19 days. Hydrolysis half-life approx. 26 days. Low global warming potential. Non-ozone depleting.
- Superior acid neutralisation: Acid acceptance greater than 0.25 wt% NaOH minimum. Protects equipment and parts.
- US EPA SNAP Approved: Approved as a suitable replacement for ozone-depleting chemicals.
