Product Overview

ProSolv®Hfe 71 is a clear, colourless and low-odour fluid designed to replace ozone-depleting substances and compounds that have a higher global warming potential. ProSolv®Hfe 71 has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and offers other environmentally friendly properties, making it an excellent alternative to traditional solvents. Its overall toxicity is low with very minimal irritation to eyes or skin, not classified as a mutagen or cardiac sensitizer. Studies have established a recommended exposure guideline of 750ppm for an 8-hour average work exposure day. ProSolv®Hfe 71 has a high boiling point and low surface tension, is perfect for use in vapour degreasing applications as a neat (pure)solvent, as a azeotropic component within a solvent formulation or co-solvent parts cleaner. Its chemical and thermal stability coupled with the fact it is also non-flammable and low toxicity make it useful for many industrial solvent applications. Tailored for a variety of industrial solvent applications, including electronics and precision parts, maintenance of aircraft components, cleaning in the automotive industry, medical equipment industry and cleaning in the optics and lenses industry.
